Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marriott Systems Trainer with deep expertise in FOSSE and MARSHA to join our training and operations support team. This role is critical in ensuring our hotel teams across the portfolio are fully equipped to optimize Marriott’s core property management systems for guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on and virtual training sessions on FOSSE and MARSHA to front office teams, reservations agents, and leadership.
- Facilitate onboarding and refresher trainings for new team members and hotel conversions.
- Develop training materials, SOPs, quick-reference guides, and learning modules aligned with Marriott brand standards.
- Support hotels in the implementation, troubleshooting, and best practice usage of Marriott’s PMS platforms.
- Partner with property leadership, Marriott Global Source, and brand teams to ensure compliance and training alignment.
- Conduct system audits and provide actionable feedback to improve process adherence and performance.
- Stay updated on all Marriott system updates and enhancements, and proactively integrate them into training content.
Qualifications
- Required: Extensive experience with Marriott PMS systems (FOSSE and MARSHA).
- Prior experience as a Trainer, Front Office Manager, or Rooms Division Leader at a Marriott-branded property.
- Proven ability to deliver training to diverse teams with varying levels of technical comfort.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to engage and motivate learners.
- Ability to travel to hotel sites as needed.
- Knowledge of Marriott Brand Standard Operating Procedures and systems integration preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Marriott certifications in FOSSE/MARSHA (if available).
- Experience with other Marriott systems such as GXP, CI/TY, Lightspeed, or OneYield is a plus.
- Multilingual capabilities a plus.
- Instructional design or adult learning certification a bonus.
