Overview
Ohio Premium Provisions, Inc an authorized local purveyor of the Boar’s Head Brand is seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are handled safely and effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and the ability to operate various types of equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely.
- Perform order picking using RF scanners and ensure accurate shipment of products.
- Pack, stack and wrap outgoing orders
- load outbound trucks.
- Unload incoming deliveries
- Maintain compliance executing mandatory logs
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
- Support inventory management by accurately tracking materials within the warehouse management system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is preferred.
- Familiarity with FIFO and handling perishable inventory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
- A commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA standards is essential.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
