Key Responsibilities
- Meal Ordering & Service: Assist residents in selecting meals according to their dietary plans, ensuring accurate order taking and timely delivery.
- Dietary Compliance: Collaborate with dietitians and kitchen staff to ensure meals meet specific dietary restrictions and nutritional requirements.
- Resident Interaction: Engage with residents to gather feedback on meals and address any concerns or special requests.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with residents, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in meal orders and adherence to dietary guidelines.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods and performing tasks that may require lifting or moving items.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with kitchen staff, dietitians, and other team members to provide optimal service.
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is often preferred; some facilities may require food safety certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
