About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Order Processing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing customer orders, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring smooth and timely order fulfillment. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and maintain customer orders in our order management system (e.g., NetSuite).
- Confirm product availability, pricing, promotions, and shipping information before processing.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely shipments.
- Communicate order updates to customers and internal teams as needed.
- Assist with invoice preparation and other related administrative tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of orders, shipments, and communications.
- Identify and support improvements to streamline the order processing workflow.
- Respond to inquiries from sales reps, retailers, and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in order entry, administrative support, or logistics coordination.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry and recordkeeping skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication across all levels.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and experienced with ERP/order systems (NetSuite, EDI, etc.).
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
