Burlington Automation, a Lincoln Electric Company, designs and manufactures automatic CNC metal fabrication machinery, tube finishing equipment and material handling equipment. Fabricating machinery includes the PythonX Structural Steel Fabrication System, CNC machining centers, CNC drill lines, beam lines, punch lines and angle lines.
Job Responsibilities
Electrical Assembly of the PythonX equipment
Required to go onsite to support the installation of the PythonX equipment on a regular basis
Install power cables and control wiring according to accepted standards and practices
Test and troubleshoot installed hardware and wiring
Assist with mechanical assembly at the customer location
Travel requirements are 10-12 weeks per year as business levels dictate
Report to the Operations Manager and communicate all matters pertaining to the Installation and Installation functions
Abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of natural resources and the Health & Safety of all employees
To participate co-operatively as an employee within the company’s GPMP and Merit Rating System.
To actively participate in company, staff or individual one-on-one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies within the department as well as other departments across the company.
To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Operations Manager in a timely and professional manner.
Job Requirements
High School education or equivalent experience with formal Electrical Training
2 years of experience in a production environment
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
Great communications skills
Must be able to travel internationally for installations
Assembly of PythonX on production floor when not performing Installations

First Aid Certificate
WHMIS Certificate
Machinist Trade Certification
Welder Trade Certification
Hoisting and Rigging Certificate
Forklift Operator Certification
