Position Summary
Provide multimedia marketing support for the Department of Arts and Culture through the design, creation, development, building, and maintenance of individual websites and social media platforms; marketing projects and promotional materials, including brochures, press kits, press releases and print, broadcast, and radio advertisements. Coordinate assigned activities with other department divisions, and provide highly responsible and complex administrative support for assigned division.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in English, communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, humanities, education or business administration; and
Four (4) years of digital communications, digital content experience or experience managing, planning and coordinating editorial and promotional activities related to websites.; and
To include two (2) years of supervisory experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License or the ability to obtain within ninety (90) days from date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.

- Operations, services and activities of a comprehensive municipal media resources program
- Technical procedures and methods involved in television broadcast production and multi-media presentations
- Video, audio, and multi-media equipment
- Marketing and communications strategies and principles
- Principles and practices of program development and administration
- Principles and practices of municipal budget preparation and administration
- Principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation
- Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations

- Strategize and create marketing and promotions plans and campaigns
- Analyze and assess programs, policies and operational needs and make appropriate adjustments
- Design and edit various publications
- Research and create appropriate marketing materials

- Prepare clear and concise administrative and financial reports
- Prepare and administer large and complex budgets
- Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals
- Research, analyze and evaluate new service delivery methods and techniques
- Interpret and apply Federal, State and local policies, laws and regulations
- Communicate clearly and concisely
