Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to support patient needs, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our practice.
Part-time position: Mon: 8-5, Tue: 8-5, Wed: 9-5, Thurs: 9-5, Possible Fri 8-4 PM

Interview patients
Assist doctor with biopsies and surgeries
Scribe with EMR
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Verify insurance
Check patients in & out
Set up and clean exam rooms
Manage inventory
Other administrative duties

Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and coding to accurately document patient information.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy to assist in examinations and procedures.

- Basic life support certification is essential; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine, urgent care, and internal medicine practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a Level I Trauma Center environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented healthcare setting.
