We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dynamic Behavioral Health team. As part of an integrated care model, you’ll play a vital role in supporting providers and patients in a fast-paced, team-based setting focused on mental and emotional wellness. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for visits, collecting vital signs and health information
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within your scope of practice
- Administer medications in accordance with provider orders and within the Medical Assistant scope of practice
- Maintain accurate documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Help manage prescription refill requests and medication reconciliations
- Coordinate patient flow, help maintain a calm and welcoming environment
- Schedule patient appointments and conduct outreach to support continuity of care
- Support patients with education and resources related to mental health treatment as directed by the provider
- Participate in team huddles, training and continuous quality improvement efforts

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
- Experience or interest in behavioral health or integrated care settings
