Job Description:
Newburgh Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our fun, friendly team. If you are passionate about healthcare and a team player, join us in a family environment where everyone is supportive and collaborative.
We will train the right candidate in both EMR and office tasks. This position is a perfect stepping stone for aspiring Physician Assistants or future medical school students.
Responsibilities include:
- Room patients and prepare exam rooms
- Support/assist providers with clinical procedures and documentation
- Manage patient records within EMR
- Provide patients with post-care treatment and instructions
- Knowledge of EMA is a plus, but not required.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant or Bachelor's degree
