The Medical Assistant will work to administer care to all patients, both in person and over the phone, maintain medical records and advise patients on health maintenance while being a direct assistant to a physician. Administrative tasks may include scheduling appointments. Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs, and preparing patients for examination.
- This position will be required to travel to other OSMS locations.
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate or GED required
- CMA Certificate or equivalent experience and/or education required.
- 1+ years’ experience in a medical setting preferred
- Orthopedic, Pain Management, or Non-Operative Sports Medicine clinical experience preferred
