Overview:
Seeking an experienced Chargemaster Manager to oversee CDM, charge capture, and billing compliance for lab services. Collaborate with Compliance, IT, Finance, and Revenue Cycle teams to reduce revenue loss and ensure regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain CDM accuracy
- Ensure charge capture aligns with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and CMS billing guidelines
- Assign codes for new lab services and resolve billing issues
- Analyze budget impact and revenue variances
- Lead testing of workflows and charge interfaces
- Supervise team performance and compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Healthcare Admin, Business, or related field
- 5+ years in coding/charge management, preferably in lab or hospital settings
- Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and billing workflows
- Experience with Epic, LIS, and Excel
- Must hold one: CPC, CCS, CCA, or CIC
