Looking for a new exciting career opportunity in the health care field? Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania (ECOP) has a new opportunity at our growing Wyomissing office.
ECOP is looking for a full-time medical scribe to work alongside one of our doctors. The medical scribe will travel to other ECOP locations which include, Wyomissing, Pottstown, and Pottsville. Hours vary based on daily rotation typical start time will be 8 AM. Wyomissing has one evening per week. Flexibility with hours are based on surgery days.
The ideal candidate would have experience working with EMR/EHR systems. ECOP uses NexGen for patient records. The scribe would prep the patient room and patient. The scribe would then take detailed notes as the doctor dictates during the patient exam.
The skill sets that is required for this position, are the following:
- Detailed notes free from errors
- Computer skills that include typing on laptops and desktop computers.
- Listening to directions and executing them per the doctor's specifications.
- Transcribing notes and following up with surgery scheduling team.
This position works with patients in the eye field. The candidate will learn to be a Certified Ophthalmic certification. This certification through JCAHPO will be paid for by ECOP. This position has growth opportunities.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
