Job Posting Description
The Medical Team Associate supports inpatient care coordination by handling non-clinical tasks, enabling providers to focus more on direct patient care and education. This role enhances hospital efficiency by facilitating early discharges and coordinating inpatient activities according to hospital policies, under the guidance of the Executive Administrative Director for Critical Care Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Rounding & Team Collaboration: Participate in daily morning rounds, coordinate logistics, facilitate discharge planning, support cross-team communication, and schedule tests and consultations.
Scheduling & Coordination: Handle scheduling for inpatient and outpatient procedures, prioritize diagnostic testing, and organize meetings and conference room usage.
Documentation & Data Management: Assist with data gathering and analysis for PCM and surgical length-of-stay tracking.
Patient & Family Communication: Manage interpreter services, translation of instructions, family meetings coordination, and collaborate with social workers and child life specialists.
- Discharge Planning and Administrative Support: Track discharge readiness, provide families with necessary materials, manage prescription processes, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
One year of related experience preferred
