Job Summary
The Genesis Center, an integrative and functional medical office, is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate individual who values providing high-quality care and respect to our patients and staff. This role includes both front and back office responsibilities, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer incoming phone calls and address patient inquiries
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Check patients in and out (no insurance-related tasks)
- Handle medical records and ensure they are up to date
- Assist with sending prescriptions and other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to maintain a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor in all patient and staff interactions
