Membership Sales Specialist
Location: The Saturn Club, Buffalo, NY

Position Overview:
The Saturn Club, a private social club rooted in tradition and forward-thinking hospitality, is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Membership Sales Specialist to generate new membership and banquet/event revenue—while working closely with marketing to drive outreach and engagement.

You’re just as comfortable leading a one-on-one tour as you are mingling at a networking event or coordinating a large social gathering.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Sales (Primary Focus):
- Identify, engage, and convert prospective members through personalized outreach, referrals, tours, and follow-ups.
- Actively represent the Club in the community through networking, partnerships, and targeted events.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive consistent membership growth and retention.
- Understand and articulate the club’s offerings, amenities, and culture to align with each prospect’s needs.
- Track leads, manage CRM records, and provide regular sales reports to leadership.
- Serve as the primary contact for all prospective members—ensuring a high-touch, white-glove experience throughout the sales cycle.
Event & Banquet Sales:
- Promote and book private events that align with the club’s standards and membership culture.
- Cultivate relationships with vendors, planners, and local businesses to generate event referrals and repeat bookings.
- Support the coordination of club-hosted member events to enhance engagement and create new referral opportunities.
Marketing & Communications Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the team to align sales and marketing strategies, including social media, email newsletters, event promotions, and branded collateral.
- Contribute to content creation and storytelling that supports membership growth and event bookings.
- Responsible for website and production of Club Monthly newsletter.
- Provide feedback with website updates, campaign analytics, and improving visibility across digital and print channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in membership sales, private clubs, hospitality, or a similar relationship-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
- Strong interpersonal skills—you’re approachable, articulate, and persuasive.
- Experience with CRM software and lead management processes.
- Able to balance self-direction with collaboration in a team-oriented setting.
- Enthusiastic about creating meaningful experiences and long-term connections.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000 Base, depending on experience, plus bonuses.
- Bonuses: Performance-based commission structure, based on increased event revenue and increased resident membership.
