Growing integrated Family Medicine and Mental Health Practice providing psychiatric care is hiring for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at our Fort Worth,TX locations. Excellent Salary $140K-$150K with full benefit package. Work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM, no weekends, for psychiatric care clinic. Sign on bonus available for the right candidate.
Position Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Performs medical/ psychiatric assessments.
- Performs medical evaluations of new patients upon admission and performs psychiatric evaluations as needed.
- Responsible for Medication Management.
- Responsible for providing medications according to approved formulary.
- Provides on-going patient education.
Education & Experience: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Graduate of a Baccalaureate degree, and a specialty as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- 1+ year of PMHNP experience with prescribing medication preferred.
- Experience with E and M coding guidelines for billing
- Prior psychiatric experience is preferred
- Advanced practice degree PMHNP
- Certification with ANCC or ANA
- Must have an unrestricted Texas license as an APRN/CNS
- Must have prescriptive authority and DEA number
