Job Description:
We are currently seeking a part-time Mentor- 4 hrs a week- flexible on day and time- after school
Other hours and positions available in the area to build desired schedule
We are looking to hire a fun, energetic, patient, organized individual who loves working with young adults with disabilities. You would be working one on one with individual- Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited too-
- Working one on one with individual on daily living skills
- offer advice, share knowledge, and assist in personal growth.
- Engage in companionship activities and provide support
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay is based on job experience and job duties, range is $15-16 / hour
- You will be working for a family that is very appreciative of what you do!
Ideal candidate:
- Positive, upbeat attitude
- Has a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle and auto insurance
- Must be U.S. citizen or have valid work permit
- First aid and CPR Trained (preferred, but will provide if needed for suitable candidate)
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
