JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
The messenger is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of medications and supplies to patient’s residence. The messenger works independently in the field, taking direction from Pharmacy and the Dispatcher to complete daily routes. This requires excellent customer service skills as well as good skills in time management, organization and basic problem resolution. The messenger provides front line customer service, forming relationships with customers which seek not only to meet customer needs, but which represent the mission, vision and values of Park Nicollet Health Services.
Work Schedule:
Every other week M-F day shift and occasional Saturdays.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Experience (1+ years) in driving for a courier or delivery service.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the health care environment preferred.
