Job Description
We are looking for a talented metal fabricator and sanitary welder to build and install high-quality metal equipment for our clients. In this role you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, fabricating metal components, assisting with the onsite installation and performing quality checks on finished products.
To ensure success, you should have advanced knowledge of industrial metalwork specific to the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry. In addition, we are looking for candidates that have an aptitude for leading and have a good eye for detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
- Fabricating and constructing equipment, components and/or structures
- Supporting onsite installations, repair and maintenance
- Setting up metalwork and welding machinery including but not limited to…..
- Performing quality checks on finished products.
- Follow and evaluate P&ID’s to meet project specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify requirements
- Constructing base templates if necessary
- Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines
- Grinding and finishing completed products
- Conforming with federal, state and company safety regulations
- Implement and maintain quality control and safety
- Completing job reports and other paperwork.
- All other duties assigned
What do you need for this position?
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, sanitary welding or other related fields
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Proven track record of success.
- Able to fit and weld pipe (sanitary tubing and schedule pipe)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- AWS certification and advanced welding experience preferred
- Orbital welding Experience welcomed
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time within the tri-state area
