Immediate opening to fill position of Microbiologist.
Education: Associate degree in science or college graduate with degree in science.
Minimum 1 to 2 years micro lab work experience in food industry, dietary supplement industry or Pharmaceutical industry.
Must be a team player and work well with others.
Must be able to work independently with a minimum non critical errors.
Job description:
- Set up routine samples for full micro testing (TAMC, Yeast and mold, pathogens) on daily basis
- Order lab supplies
- Instrument calibration and maintenance planning
- Preferable but not a must: experience in water testing, air sampling and testing, environmental monitoring sampling and testing, cleaning validation sampling and testing
- Computer knowledge is a must, outlook, office etc
- Self-awareness to learn
- basic math and detail oriented
