POSITION DESCRIPTION: Mill Operator
The opening is for second shift (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM) Monday thru Friday.
Individual is responsible to assist in the operation of a modern, state of the art, computerized high bypass protein production mill.
JOB DUTIES included but are not limited to:
- Daily startup and shutdown of production activities
- Cleaning of machinery and facility
- Maintenance of equipment and facility
- Repair of machinery
- Grounds care and snow removal
- Completion of production, inventory, and shipping records,
- Unloading of raw materials and Loading of finished goods.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must follow all safety procedures and work instructions
- Ability to climb and work at heights greater than 100 feet
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Be familiar with computers and the Windows operating system
- Have mechanical equipment repair experience,
- maintain good housekeeping and a clean work area
- Ability to work with voltages up to and including 480 VAC 3 phase is a plus.
Wage Rate:
$21.00/Hr.
