Position Title: Programming Coordinator
Location: Westfield, IN
Reports To: Club Director
Status: Full-Time, Salaried
Position Summary:
The Programming Coordinator at Monon Select is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all volleyball programming outside of club season. This includes camps, clinics, leagues, and training opportunities for youth through high school athletes. The coordinator plays a key role in expanding the reach of Monon Select by delivering high-quality, mission-aligned programming that supports athlete development and engages the broader community.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Execution
- Plan and implement all non-club volleyball programming including but not limited to: summer camps, positional clinics, holiday break training, rec leagues, and pre-tryout tune-ups.
- Collaborate with club directors and coaches to design age-appropriate and skill-appropriate curriculum.
- Create seasonal programming calendars, registration timelines, and promotional campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
Operations & Logistics
- Manage all logistical needs for programming events including facility scheduling, staffing, equipment, rosters, and registration platforms.
- Oversee onsite execution of programming events ensuring safety, organization, and a positive athlete experience.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping, roster management, and attendance tracking.
Communication & Outreach
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants and families.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to promote events through social media, email, website, and community outreach.
- Engage local schools and recreational programs to drive participation and build relationships.
Staff Management
- Recruit, schedule, and supervise coaches and court staff for all programming events.
- Ensure all staff are trained on event structure, safety expectations, and athlete engagement.
- Provide regular feedback and support to maintain a high standard of instruction.
Evaluation & Improvement
- Collect and review participant feedback for all programming initiatives.
- Monitor participation data, identify trends, and adjust offerings to meet community needs and maximize impact.
- Present quarterly reports on program performance and recommendations for future growth.
Qualifications:
- Passion for youth sports and volleyball development
- Experience coaching or organizing youth sports programs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic, proactive, and team-oriented
Preferred Skills:
- Background in volleyball coaching or athletic programming
- Experience working in a club or nonprofit athletic setting
