We are seeking a Primary Montessori Teacher to join our family style program! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children ages 3 1/2 to 5 years old.
Responsibilities:
Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth.
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop weekly lesson plans and routines.
- Maintain record of individual child
progress and reports.
- Establish and maintain positive
relationships with students, staff and
parents.
- Create seasonal materials within the
classroom to compliment authentic
Montessori materials.
- Communicate with parents and director on
students’ growth and progress.
- Maintain the health and safety of all
students.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Montessori Certified AMS or
AMI Educator in early childhood or working towards its certification.
- Completed state minimum requirements:
- 40 educational hrs, staff credential, fingerprints, VPK Endorsed preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a teacher.
- English mandatory, Preferred Bilingual.
- Excellent written and verbal
communication skills.
