Morning Café Barista – $17–19/hr + Perks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 12 PM
Pay: $17/hr + tips (usually $19/hr). After 3 months, guaranteed $19/hr minimum.
About the Job
We’re looking for an independent, fast-moving, and outgoing barista to open and run our café each morning. You’ll often be solo during the shift, so you’ll need to be reliable, quick on your feet, and confident juggling multiple tasks at once. The morning rush is busy and hectic, but if you thrive in that environment, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Open the café and get it ready for the day
- Make espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, and more
- Bake mini muffins and prep items like granola, kombucha, sourdough starter, and chia pudding (Sunday prep)
- Restock and organize drinks, set out baked goods neatly and attractively
- Take inventory and communicate supply needs
- Deliver excellent customer service with energy and positivity
What We’re Looking For
- Independent & reliable — you’ll be opening and working solo
- Fast & efficient — mornings move quickly, so speed matters
- Loud, outgoing, people-person who loves engaging with customers
- Previous barista or café experience a plus, but not required if you’re quick to learn
- Must be comfortable multitasking under pressure
