Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the transportation and relocation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that items are loaded, transported, and unloaded safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Operate various equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to assist in moving heavy items.
- Drive box trucks or vans along designated routes to transport goods to clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is stored properly after use.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all moving tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or route driving is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for driving positions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential.
