Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in San Antonio, TX is looking to hire an experienced Municipal Outside Sales Representative to sell work truck bodies, equipment, and accessories; identify potential leads, educate prospects, manage orders, and provide customers with exceptional service and support. This full-time position will work Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

What you'll be doing:
- Prospect, sell, and proactively manage relationships with the municipal market
- Prepare and present sales proposals, build custom quotes, place and manage orders
- Prepare and deliver responses to RFQ's and bids
- Meet regularly with key decision-makers from municipalities, counties, and state agencies to build and maintain relationships
- Attend council and/or board meetings as necessary
- Maintain an awareness of market dynamics and competitors' activity
- Attend local industry trade shows and participate in local chambers or other community associations and trade groups
Experience you'll need:
- Municipal sale experience; previous experience working with municipalities, counties, and state agencies; understanding of municipal, county, and state RFQ/bid programs; and/or previous work truck equipment sales experience
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
- Valid Driver's License
