Schedule: Monday to Thursday:
10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (4-day work week!)
Compensation:
$20 to $24+ per hour
Includes: Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Paid Personal Days
About the Family: A loving family in Pinson, AL is seeking a nurturing and dependable part-time nanny to care for their newborn son. The parents work from home and value a caregiver who is gentle, observant, and confident with infants.
Their baby boy is bottle-fed with both pumped breast milk and formula. He is thriving and has no reflux, gas, or known allergies. While he does not yet follow a strict schedule, the parents use sleep cues and wake windows to guide his routine.
The family also has a sweet 5-year-old dog. No pet care is required from the nanny.
Nanny Responsibilities:
- Full care of newborn during scheduled hours
- Preparing and feeding bottles (breast milk and formula)
- Managing nap times and wake windows
- Diaper changes and maintaining a clean changing area
- Gentle, developmentally appropriate play and interaction
- Light tidying related to baby’s care (e.g., bottles, nursery, baby laundry)
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Experienced in newborn care
- Calm, reliable, and loving
- Observant and responsive to baby’s cues
- Organized and proactive in managing daily infant routines
- Comfortable working in a home where parents are present
- Professional and respectful communicator
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Infant CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
- Strong understanding of newborn care (sleep/wake routines, bottle prep, soothing techniques)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism
- Punctual, dependable, and attentive to detail
- Ability to create a warm, secure environment for the child’s development
