Summary of Job (brief description)
The National Director, PACE & Director Residential Stakeholders provides strategic direction and leadership for Soleno’s Director Residential Stakeholders (DRS) and Patient and Community Educator (PACE) teams. Reporting to the VP of Customer Engagement within the Commercial organization, this role is a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team and plays an integral role in shaping and executing national commercial strategy. The National Lead ensures educational initiatives and stakeholder partnerships are aligned with broader commercial objectives, strengthening engagement across residential providers, healthcare professionals, advocacy organizations, and caregiver/patient communities affected by Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). This position fosters a collaborative, non-promotional environment dedicated to improving understanding of PWS and supporting access to approved therapies.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of DRSs and PACEs across all U.S. regions and areas.
- Define team roles and responsibilities for PACE and DRSs
- Determine and implement national strategies for education delivery, residential provider engagement, and stakeholder relationship management in direct support of the company’s commercial strategy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and applicable regulations, including use of approved educational materials, non-promotional engagement, and HIPAA safeguards.
- Collaborate with Advocacy, Marketing, Medical, Commercial, and Compliance to develop and execute educational programs tailored to the needs of the PWS community.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key residential providers, advocacy organizations, and professional networks to strengthen partnerships and address unmet needs.
- Support DRSs and PACEs in identifying stakeholders serving individuals with PWS and facilitate alignment with relevant field and internal teams.
- Oversee measurement frameworks to track the impact of education and engagement efforts, using data to inform strategic decisions and optimize commercial impact.
- Represent the organization at national and regional meetings, conferences, and advocacy events as an educational and stakeholder engagement leader.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, education, public health, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of combined experience in rare disease/pharmaceutical/biotech industry, patient/caregiver education, or stakeholder engagement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in building and leading field-based education and engagement teams.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements for non-promotional educational activities in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills across diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel nationally (50%+), including evenings and weekends.
Salary Range: $240,000 - $260,000
