What you’ll do
Role purpose:
The Senior Specialist: National Facilities & Fleet Management is responsible for the end-to-end management of MAST facilities, property portfolio, fleet operations, and office security services. The role ensures the effective delivery of facilities, fleet, maintenance, lease, infrastructure, and security services by managing assets, service providers, projects, and budgets to support business operations. It is accountable for maintaining safe, secure, compliant, cost-effective, and efficient workplaces and fleet solutions that enable operational excellence and support the organization's strategic objectives.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Fleet Operations and Optimisation
Fleet Operations & Utilization
- Ensure effective management of MAST fleet operations across all regions.
Fleet Asset Lifecycle Management
- Manage vehicle procurement, allocation, maintenance, replacement and disposal processes.
Fleet Service Provider Management
- Manage outsourced fleet providers against agreed SLAs.
Facilities and Property Management :
Facilities & Property Management
- Manage the Bryanston offices, including providing regional support to our employees on all facilities related matters
Lease Management & Governance
- Work with Legal and/or SCM to manage lease portfolio including renewals, terminations and relocations
Infrastructure, Utilities & Energy Management
- Manage building infrastructure, utilities and energy consumption.
Project Management & Delivery
- Deliver facilities projects including space planning optimisation, construction, refurbishment and office fitouts
Workplace Strategy & Business Support
- Ensure facilities support business operations and employee productivity
Office Security Management
- Develop and implement office security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Manage security service providers and monitor SLA performance.
- Oversee access control, visitor management, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident response.
- Conduct security risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Investigate security incidents and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Protect company employees, visitors, facilities, and assets through effective security governance.
Vendor Management
- Develop governance structures to monitor, evaluate and manage supplier, contractors, and 3rd party’s performance (SLA/KPI) against their contracted scope of work and benchmark best practice.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Formulate and manage the Facilities operations CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
Compliance, Risk & Governance
- Ensure adherence to legal, safety and company standards.

Must have technical / professionalqualifications
• Must have a relevant 3 year professional qualification (Degree or Diploma)
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in facilities/property/real estate/fleet management
- Proven track record of facilities and fleet management
- Experience in creating and establishing facilities policies and procedures is essential
- Experience in creating and establishing fleet policies and procedures from vehicle assignment to replacement, accident reporting is essential
