About the Position:
The Boulder IOP and Neurofeedback Coordinator position assists in care coordination for IOP and the facilitation of NFB. This position works closely with the Boulder Clinical Manager to support the admission and case management of all IOP clients. The position supports the office by managing all purchases for the office and client needs as well as coordinating the safety drills and inspections. This position works closely with the PLUS services team to provide NFB with Boulder clients. Full-time position.
Position Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create strong relationships and interactions to build a culture of safety and serves as a positive role model and mentor for clients
- Promote client adherence to the IOP schedule
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols and ensure compliance with program rules
- Intervenes in client crisis situations and works with treatment team to promote conflict resolution, de-escalation, and emotion regulation
- Uses positive reinforcement, non-judgmental attitude, listening skills, gentle redirection, and other tools to manage client behaviors in a positive and supportive way to create a safe environment
- Observes and/or co-facilitates groups with IOP therapist
PLUS- Neurofeedback
- Schedules appointments
- Administers treatments according to protocols
- Enables effective treatment by accurately administering QEEG (brain map)
- Promotes neurofeedback to IOP and community relations
- Demonestrates compassion in a supportive treatment environment
- Coordinates care with treatment team
Interdepartmental
- Serving as an integral part of the treatment team, conferring with various departments to address client issues and to promote safety and wellness
- Develop a strong working relationship with clinical, medical, and Plus service staff
- Works with the admissions/discharge department to manage tasks related to client admission and discharge
Administrative
- Support Clinical Manager on completing all admission documents for IOP clients
- Manage all safety inspections and drills for the Boulder Office
- Make sure the Boulder office is stocked with client food and office supplies
Training and Development
- Participates in ongoing education as a certified addiction tech/specialist (CAT/CAS) and ongoing training in behavior management, de-escalation, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and other developmental opportunities.
