Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with adults with substance abuse disorders, and mental health disorders. must have knowledge of de-escalation techniques. Your commitment to patient care and ability to manage crises will be essential in fostering a positive environment for our clients.
Responsibilities

- Provide direct support to clients, assisting them in daily activities, promoting independence and sobriety
- Collect and record data in KIPU on client behaviors, progress, and discharge
- Assist nurse during medication administration
- Ensuring patient's follow our policies and procedures
- Engage in crisis management and intervention strategies when necessary, ensuring the safety of clients and staff.
- Collaborate with families, clinicians, and other professionals to create a supportive network for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and participate in team meetings to discuss client progress.
Requirements
- Experience working is preferred.
- Knowledge of applied behavior principles and techniques.
- Strong skills in documentation and admissions
- Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial.
- Ability to manage patients behaviors and work as a team
- Level 2 Background is required
- A patient care mindset with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.
- Commitment to completing ongoing pre-approved courses is required
