Job Overview
Requirements-
-Must have a valid driver license
-Must have 5 years of driving experience (for a job)
-Must have a clean driving record
-Must be able to pass a drug test
-Must have a clear background check
-Must be able to push physically sensitive passengers in wheelchairs up a ramp
Job details and pay
-Staring hourly rate is $17-18 depending on experience
-This is a Independent contractor job
-A company vehicle will be provided to you! (It will be $15 a shift and the company will cover the gas!)
-The shift will be 8-10 hour shift we have a 3:30AM-12:30PM (estimate) and a 1:00PM-12Am (estimate)
Some of your responsibilities will include
-Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other designated locations.
-Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids.
-Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and properly equipped for passenger safety and comfort.
-Maintain accurate records of mileage, trips, and passenger information.
-Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and vehicle operation.
-Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical staff, and patients.
-Provide courteous and compassionate assistance to passengers, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
-Properly secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices within the vehicle.
-Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
-Report any vehicle maintenance issues or passenger concerns to the appropriate personnel.
-Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to changes as needed.
-Assist passengers with loading and unloading personal belongings.
-Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
-This is a DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE! So you will never leave a customer on a curb or
sidewalk. You walk them to there destination and make sure they are safe
-You must be wearing all black no large graphics on the clothing and must have none slip shoes
-All training and certifications will be paid for provided by the company!
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
