Nurse Practitioner (Addiction Medicine)

We’re seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team and play a vital role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to adults with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services as part of a supportive and skilled interdisciplinary team. Your clinical expertise and patient-centered approach will help guide individuals on their journey to recovery.
How You’ll Make a Difference:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with OUD
- Prescribe and manage medications such as buprenorphine-naloxone in alignment with treatment protocols
- Provide ongoing medication management, documentation, and patient follow-up
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other team members to ensure high-quality care
- Complete bio-psychosocial evaluations and psychiatric assessments as needed
- Participate in care team meetings, advocacy efforts, and coordination with community services
- Use our EMR system to manage patient records and treatment plans
- Deliver care through both in-person and telehealth settings
Who We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Active NP license in North Carolina (Psychiatric Mental Health preferred)
- DEA license and unencumbered DATA 2000 waiver to prescribe buprenorphine
- Minimum 2 years of experience prescribing Buprenorphine or providing care in addiction, family, or psychiatric medicine
- Comfortable working with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Experience with community-based or telehealth services is helpful
