Position Summary
The Nurse Director / VP / Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a senior nursing leader responsible for advancing clinical excellence, strategic leadership, and operational oversight across the nursing division. This role includes designing and delivering leadership development programs for current and emerging nurse leaders, with a strong focus on quality, safety, finance, ethics, change, and diversity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead nursing operations and ensure high standards of care, safety, and compliance.
- Deliver core leadership training modules to nurse leaders:
- Quality Improvement & Patient Safety – Implement QI initiatives and promote safety.
- Financial Management & Budgeting – Manage budgets and teach healthcare finance.
- Ethical & Legal Leadership – Apply ethical standards and address legal issues.
- Change Management & Innovation – Lead change and drive innovation.
- Cultural Competence & Diversity – Promote inclusive and culturally competent care.
- Mentor future leaders and support succession planning.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing or related field.
- RN license and 10+ years in nursing leadership.
- Strong expertise in quality, finance, ethics, innovation, and DEI.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
