I. The Office Manager will provide visionary leadership in all aspects of Greenbank Mill Associates (GMA) programs and services, assure appropriate stewardship of its resources, develop and monitor systems for effective administration, and participate in staff development, training, and evaluation. The Office Manager will manage the daily activities of the GMA to achieve the goals and objectives as determined by the Board of Directors.
II. The Office Manager reports to the Board of Directors--through the Board Chair--and will make monthly reports to the Board concerning goals, policies and procedures encompassing all aspects of GMA's mission and operations.
III. Responsibilities of the Office Manager
Staff will report directly to the Office Manager. Overseeing the following:
- Hall Rentals
- Site Management
- Livestock Program & Schedule
Grant Administration & Financial Development
- Aggressively research grants
- Solicit sponsorships and other forms of support from individuals, businesses, private foundations and governments
Volunteers & Members
- Hours of volunteers
- Keeping the list of members current
- Increasing volunteer & member base
Educational Programs & Outreach Events
- Work in conjunction with Staff on development and staffing
Events outside the scope of Hall Rentals
Manage and Improve Social Media & Marketing
- Website, correspondence, social media, public relations, and press releases
Liaison with our Accountant
- Monthly reports
- Writing out checks as necessary (Board Member to sign)
Collection & dispersion of mail
Work on improvement of our procedures and implement best practices
Attend our monthly Board Meetings (3rd Monday of the month), along with any planning meetings necessary
- Monthly report due 2nd Monday of the month
Other duties and projects as necessary
IV. Qualifications
- Proven office management and clerical experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with Google Drive
- Experience in event planning and vendor management
- Ability to manage schedules, calendars, and personnel
Mission: Greenbank Mill Associates, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the Greenbank Mill National Historic District as a public museum, and expanding public knowledge of Red Clay Valley industrial, agricultural, and social history through on-site educational and recreational programming.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
