Harter's Expert Disposal is a family owned, multi-generation, growing company, expanding into the Chippewa Valley. We currently have a full-time opening for an Office Manager. The dynamic professional we select will led our office with professionalism and dedication. Basic responsibilities include direct customer interaction, scheduling service for commercial and residential accounts, troubleshooting issues, providing support to operations and supervising administrative personnel. The Office Manager will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, utilizing core skills in clerical tasks, customer service, and organizational abilities to manage daily administrative functions for a growing operation.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Managing office staff
- General HR duties, including facilitating hiring and new hire paperwork
- Answering customer inquiries by phone and email by assigned deadlines
- Completing new service requests and cancellations
- Troubleshooting customer and staff concerns
- Entering daily work orders, service changes, requests for service
- Handing upper level administrative tasks including billing, reporting and payment processing
- Daily/monthly/yearly data reconciliation, entry and reporting
- Enforcing company policies and procedures
- Working with operations to ensure accurate and dependable service standards
Requirements:
- Proficiency with MS Office applications - including Word and Excel
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
- The ability to multi-task a wide variety of daily responsibilities in an efficient manner
- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- High level of organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong work ethic
