Office Manager - Viridi Energy

Viridi is a full-service renewable natural gas (RNG) platform, founded by a veteran management team with unparalleled expertise in end-to-end RNG value creation.
Viridi’s mission is to maximize the value of our partners’ biogas-generating assets by creating RNG that replaces higher-emission fuel in a cost-friendly, environmentally effective way.
Through capture and conversion of naturally occurring biogas, we reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions and fossil-fuel use, while improving local air quality and increasing availability of cleaner transportation fuels.
On our journey to realize our mission, we are seeking a Plant Manager for our Magnolia site located in Foley, Alabama.
Scope of Role
Multi-discipline Office Manager with responsibilities that include Business Data, Plant Data, Human Resources, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), Technology, and Compliance activity across both the corporate operations and site operations. Within each discipline, the role will serve to either support existing workflows or establish and take the lead on new workflows. The focus is on creating a safe, compliant, and well-supported work environment. This role involves sensitive business and employee information and requires extreme attention to detail and care in maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
This is a broad role across many disciplines. The Duties and Responsibilities below are examples of tasks within each discipline and the actual job responsibilities will be determined by the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Corporate HQ Business Support
- Ensure all visitors going to sites are aware of best travel arrangements and visitor requirements
- Manage the relationship with Viridi’s external procurement provider and associated suppliers accounts such as FedEx, Staples, Verizon, and others
- Open mail at corporate HQ and disseminate as appropriate
- Lead logistics planning for certain corporate events (eg., board or other important meetings, holiday parties) as assigned by CEO
- Maintain Viridi Wilmington printer support
- Maintain office supplies and refreshments in Wilmington office
Human Resources - Support
- Maintain Viridi Employee Handbook incorporating policy additions and changes as requested by leadership, act as liaison to our external HR provider
- Ensure adherence of Viridi HR policies to local, state, and federal requirements with our external HR provider
- Create, run, and maintain routine HR reports (overtime, vacation, etc)
- Support Onboarding and Offboarding across all Viridi departments
- Manage laptop inventory and distribution
- Develop and maintain Viridi training records
Human Resources - Recruiting **
- Support Viridi team in posting jobs
- Pre-screen incoming resumes, send applicable resumes to hiring manager
- Support interview scheduling with candidates and interviewing team
Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE)
- Work with external consultant in managing policies and procedures for Viridi HSE
- Maintain OSHA 300 Log, KPI's for HSE
- Maintain Viridi electronic SDS database across all sites
Compliance
- Maintain records and renewals for all business and site permitting and regulatory compliance requirements
- Act as backup for Sr. Business Analyst for vacations in gathering production data
- Manage Viridi document control system ()
- Assist Sr. Business Analyst in developing and maintaining Viridi contract database
- Other duties, as assigned by the CEO, in support of Viridi’s growth and business strategy
Candidate Qualifications
Required
- 2 or more years of relevant business management or executive support experience
- 5 or more years experience in a professional role
- Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Strong, hands-on, proven computer and technology aptitude
- Strong sense of discretion and privacy in dealing with confidential human resources information
- Able to learn quickly and teach effectively
- Strong bias toward action, self-motivated and independent task manager
- Attention to detail for data collection, analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance documentation
- Strong command of English language, both verbal and written
- A valid driver's license in good standing
- Must be flexible as this role working across multiple disciplines supporting multiple office and sites
Preferred
- Degree or certification in business management or similar training
- Experience or exposure to multiple business processes including safety management, human resources, planning, scheduling, budgeting, supply chain, and similar activities as described in Duties and Responsibilities listed above
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
