About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Office Manager to help make our brand new office a fun, comfortable and welcoming place to work. This is a dynamic and multifaceted role that will keep our NYC office running smoothly and foster the vibrant culture we’re building at Teleskope. You’ll be a critical part of ensuring an exceptional day-to-day experience for our employees and leadership, with a direct impact on our team’s success and satisfaction.

About You

You are ultra-organized, have a can-do mentality, and are excited to make our new home a great place to work. You care about fostering a warm and welcoming environment for guests and for our whole team. You’re proactive, stay on top of tasks, and can effectively manage vendors related to maintaining the office.

What You’ll Do

Office Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the NYC office to ensure a high-functioning and welcoming environment for our team and visitors.

  • Manage office vendor relationships, including building management, cleaning services, and maintenance providers.

  • Order and maintain kitchen and office supplies (food, snacks, equipment) to keep the office stocked and running efficiently.

  • Coordinate repairs, office improvements, and workspace arrangements as needed.

  • Ensure visitors like clients and investors are taken care of

Culture Building

  • Organize in-office experiences like happy hours, wellness initiatives, and celebrations for team and company milestones.

  • Partner with the People team to own new hire onboarding experience including on-site interviews, first-day welcome setups, and swag.

  • Bring your fun and creative side to Teleskope’s culture, finding new ways to keep the team happy, engaged, and excited to come to work each day.

Events & Logistics

  • Help plan and execute team outings, seasonal parties, offsites, and other events that foster a positive, celebratory and inclusive team culture.

  • Assist in planning external conference participation, leadership offsites, and special events (including dinners, speaking engagements, etc.).

  • Manage and track RSVPs, event materials, vendor contracts, and logistics for internal and external events.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of administrative or related experience (experience working at a start-up is a big plus!)

  • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and scheduling tools

  • Impeccable communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently

  • A friendly and "nothing is beneath me" attitude is key!

  • Ability to be on-site in our FiDi office Monday-Friday

Compensation Range: $70K - $80K
