We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. Duties
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Buss tables promptly after guests finish their meals, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during events.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations by providing attentive service and addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food handling, or catering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with banquet service procedures and culinary practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or equipment as necessary.
