We are seeking a highly motivated Banquet Setup to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the success of banquet functions by ensuring seamless setup, service, and breakdown. Your responsibilities will include:
- Set up banquet rooms for functions, including draping tables, arranging silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and setting up table centerpieces.
- Serve food by picking up items from the back hall, carrying trays to the function location, and ensuring timely and professional service to guests.
- Clear tables during and after events, bus tables, and manage the breakdown process, including putting away dirty linen, centerpieces, and vacuuming.
- Clean and organize back hall areas and storerooms, ensuring a tidy and efficient workspace.
- Set up AM or PM break stations with coffee, tea, snacks, and beverages.
- Assist with event room setup based on meal periods and table requirements.
- Perform food and beverage preparation duties, such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and maintaining stocked workstations.
- Provide guests with information on menu items, preparation methods, and ingredients, accommodating special requests and dietary considerations.
- Conduct final quality checks on food and beverage items before serving guests.
- Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction, address any issues promptly, and ensure high-quality service.
- Collaborate with other event and restaurant staff as needed to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain constant awareness of safety issues, reporting and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Required to work a minimun of 5 shifts per quarter.
- Pay rate $17.00/ non tipped position.
Expectations for On-Call Associates:
- On-call associates are required to work a minimum of five shifts per quarter to remain active in the position.
- Flexibility is essential—shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
