Job description

We are looking for an Onsite Support Engineer to handle deskside incidents that cannot be resolved remotely, manage hardware provisioning and swap-outs, support meeting room technology, and act as the local escalation point for anything requiring physical presence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide deskside L2 support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues not resolvable by the remote service desk
  • Execute device provisioning, imaging, and replacement for new joiners, leavers, and refresh cycles
  • Manage onsite hardware assets: laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers — including inventory and CMDB updates
  • Support meeting room AV/VC equipment: setup, troubleshooting, and escalation of display/conferencing issues
  • Handle VIP and executive support requests at site, coordinating with remote teams as needed
  • Coordinate with local logistics and facilities for hardware delivery, disposal, and secure data destruction
  • Act as local eyes-and-hands for infrastructure teams: physical server checks, cabling verification, data center access support

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of deskside or field support experience
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and standard corporate hardware troubleshooting
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 end-user support, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Skills in device imaging and provisioning using Autopilot/Intune or equivalent
  • Background in basic networking: connectivity diagnosis, cable, switch port, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with ITSM ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or equivalent
  • Language proficiency: English and Czech required

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile, software engineering culture
  • Comfortable modern office in Prague 7, with support of hybrid or fully remote mode
  • Benefit program (5 weeks of vacation, paid sick days, paid days off for special occasions, meal vouchers, flexi pass, Prague city public transport annual coupon, multisport cards, optional contribution to pension fund, health insurance for family member)
  • EPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) (subject to certain eligibility requirements)
  • English language courses
  • Czech language courses upon request
  • Referral bonuses for recommended candidates
  • Mobile Phone Tariff’s program for managerial-level candidates
  • Great learning and development opportunities, including in-house professional training, career advisory and coaching, sponsored professional certifications, well-being programs, LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more
