Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Operations Systems and Fulfillment Coordinator to coordinate critical elements of our day-to-day operations. This role ensures the smooth execution of order processing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, vendor communications, and ERP system accuracy. The ideal candidate will play a key liaison role in optimizing our operations to support the engineering, manufacturing and delivery of equipment in a regulated, quality-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily order processing and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of vendor, customer and internal orders.
- Coordinate and optimize inventory control processes, including stock levels, transfers, and cycle counts.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant logistics operations.
- Maintain and improve the accuracy and integrity of data within the ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC).
- Identify process improvements across order fulfillment, logistics, and inventory functions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, finance, quality, and customer service) to support smooth operational workflows.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive efficiency and meet service level goals.
- Support compliance with industry standards and regulations within the life sciences and capital equipment sectors.
- Engage with vendors and third-party logistics partners to manage shipping performance and supply chain execution.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain within capital equipment or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and supply chain management tools (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle).
- Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives across supply chain and fulfillment functions.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Outstanding curiosity, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
