Job Responsibilities:
- Support and implement 1107 Optique & VisionPoint’s vision, mission, and values.
- Provide thorough and excellent care for patients.
- Educate patients on corrective lens options to best fit their medical and lifestyle needs.
- Assist patients in the selection of frames to fit their face shape and personality.
- Operate manual lensometer and other tools to assure quality and fit of glasses for patients.
- Educate patients on insurance benefits.
Requirements:
- Desire to serve others by listening and responding to needs and concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous optician experience with A.B.O. certifications preferred, but we will provide specialized training and education
- Ability to communicate well with patient, coworkers, and physicians
- Demonstrate strong computer skills and previous experience using electronic medical records a plus
- Ability to work independently with multiple tasks and shifting priorities
