Responsibilities:
- · Running ‘Sales Report” for stores individually if needed.
· Creating an email weekly letting stores know what produce WH has available (email produce list to stores)
· Making sure stores are sending in orders on time, every week. ***Give stores a specific time to turn in order so you don’t get behind.****
· Creating a new order for each store in FTS.
· Making sure that each store has all WIC required and LEBs (least expensive brand) if available in warehouse.
· Taking calls pertaining to orders.
· Adding or removing items if store calls with adequate time to make corrections on current order.
· Making sure that all stores receive produce and have ordered sufficient amount of produce items.
· Create spread sheet to keep track of produce and making sure it is all sent out of the warehouse.
· Printing orders in warehouse contact inhouse personal to confirm orders are being given to pickers
· Keeping clear communication with warehouse workers who are actively packing orders.
· Updating and correcting all packing slips if changes are made by store and advising warehouse.
· Updating and correcting packing slips when warehouse has completed order.
· Printing driver packet for delivery; have all packets ready for next day deliveries.
· Clerk must have 4 orders ready for warehouse to start working on the following day.
· Clerk will gather driver delivery packets, edit in FTS and complete the three step process to close stores the day that they are delivered.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse distribution environment preferred
- Familiarity with order picking and packing process
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to operate an order picker or other material handling equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Basic math skills for order verification purposes
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
