Tri-City Orthodontics is currently looking for a motivated orthodontic assistant to join our dynamic team. As an orthodontic assistant, you will play a crucial role in our clinical environment, providing essential support to the orthodontist. The position involves a variety of chairside responsibilities, including but not limited to performing cleaning and sterilizing instruments, conducting 3D scans, printing 3D models, creating retainers, setting up trays, taking X-rays, and bonding traditional, clear braces, and Invisalign.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist in a clinical environment
- Perform cleaning, sterilization, and organization of instruments
- Conduct 3D scans and print 3D models
- Create retainers
- Take X-rays
- Bond/Deband traditional, clear braces, and Invisalign
- Input chart notes with attention to detail
- Excel in delivering excellent patient care
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of orthodontic instruments and procedures (prefered but not required)
- Team player
- Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English (preferred but not required)
Working Hours:
- Tuesday-Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
- Previous Orthodontic experience is preferred but not required
