Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front office Coordinator/ Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the office. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping patients achieve their best smiles.
Duties
- Handle clerical duties including scheduling appointments, managing front desk operations, answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
- Assist orthodontist during patient examinations and treatment procedures when needed
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and ready for use.
- Perform tasks such as taking dental impressions, fitting orthodontic appliances, and educating patients on proper care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review for each patient visit
- Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
Skills
- Proficiency in insurance verification processes and medical collections.
- Strong documentation review skills to maintain accurate medical records.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Experience in a clinical setting or front desk operations is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
