Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Outreach Coordinator to lead our school’s community engagement and partnership efforts. In this hybrid role, you’ll work both on-site and in the field, representing MSCT in the community, building strategic relationships, coordinating events, and leading a small outreach team to generate qualified leads and support enrollment goals.

Responsibilities:
Community Engagement & Events
- Develop partnerships with local organizations, nonprofits, religious institutions, schools, consulates, and small businesses
- Represent the school at off-site events such as job fairs, resource fairs, education expos, and festivals
- Organize and coordinate on-campus events like Open Houses, Info Sessions, and Community Appreciation Days
- Identify new outreach opportunities to drive brand visibility and enrollment leads
Team Leadership
- Manage and coach a team of 4–5 Outreach Specialists
- Set outreach goals and expectations, manage team schedules, and assign territories and events
- Provide ongoing training, feedback, and performance support to outreach staff
- Monitor productivity and ensure alignment with admissions objectives
Strategy & Collaboration
- Work closely with admissions and marketing teams to align outreach efforts with lead conversion goals
- Assist with outreach-related content and materials (flyers, signage, community collateral)
- Share feedback from the field to refine recruitment and messaging strategies
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate lead and partner tracking through CRM or lead management systems
- Submit weekly reports on outreach results, team performance, and key wins or challenges
- Stay informed about local trends and competitor outreach activity
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in outreach coordination, community engagement, or event planning
- Experience managing or supervising staff
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM or lead-tracking software
- Comfortable working in the field and attending in-person events regularly
- Familiarity with Brooklyn and NYC-area communities and outreach networks
Preferred:
- Background in education, adult learning, nonprofit, or workforce development
- Bilingual or multilingual (Spanish, Creole, Russian, Mandarin, etc.)
