GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct outreach to the community while working with, but not limited to, the following community programs: Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, Client Assistance, Summer Food Service, and Secret Santa. **Starting rate $13.81 increasing to $14.16 after 90 day probation period
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Work with CAC Executive Director to develop and implement outreach to Belmont County residents in an effort to provide needed services to as many residents as possible.
2. Work with any other programs in providing outreach as needed.
3. Collaborate and maintain relationships with other agencies and programs to address eligible participant needs.
4. Maintain contact with the community through first hand service delivery of programming.
5. Oversee workshops and conduct informational sessions to inform potential participants of programs which may benefit them.
6. Attend community organizational and resource and referral meetings as required.
7. Maintain confidentiality of all records.
8. Comply with all programs’ reporting requirements.
9. Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
10. Perform other responsibilities resulting in the efficient and effective operation of the program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to manage and organize people and actives with people from all socioeconomic levels and backgrounds, particularly low-income individuals and families and those recently incarcerated.
3. Ability to network with other agencies to fill participants’ needs.
4. Dependable with ability to work independently.
5. Effective written and oral communication skills.
6. Computer literate.
7. Belmont County resident preferred, but not required.
Must have reliable transportation with valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and willingness to travel in and out of the county as required

Pay: From $13.81 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
