Job Summary
The cart attendant is assisting guests at a golf club as they operate golf carts. Loading golf clubs into carts and ensuring they are returned in good working condition. Maintaining the range and picking up range balls daily. Responsibilities encompass maintaining cleanliness, adhering to safety protocols, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun, friendly and inviting guest experience to the golf course.
Duties
- Provide welcoming first contact with each guest and ensure an enjoyable experience
- Provide information regarding the course, play time and other golf rules and cart conditions for the day
- Cleaning, charging and maintaining availability of carts for play on the course
- Upkeep with the range and removal of range balls
- Move around the course in reverse order, hole 18 to hole 1 for safety reasons
- Ensure no outside coolers are brought on the course as well as glass bottles
- Maintain communication with the Pro Shop in relation to players, the course or other factors that would affect smooth operation
- Keep all working areas attractive, neat and clean and free of trash
- Assist other positions as needed to ensure complete guest satisfaction
Experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to deal with difficult people or situations in a positive and diplomatic manner.
- Must be safety conscious and knowledgeable about the game of golf
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from management
