If you’re looking to join a high-growth, entrepreneurial company that values innovation, energy, and relationships — UCFS is the place to be.
This is not your average sales role. As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll spend your time on college campuses, meeting with student leaders, alumni housing boards, and national Greek organizations. You’ll represent a fun, easily understood service — and one that’s genuinely appreciated by our clients.
We’re looking for a self-starter who can build relationships, sell consultatively, and bring high energy to every conversation. You’ll act as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador for UCFS, helping us expand into new chapters and campuses nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, qualify, and close new business within assigned regions
- Build strong relationships with fraternity/sorority leaders, alumni, housing boards, and campus officials
- Conduct dynamic in-person and virtual sales presentations tailored to each client
- Travel to college campuses, Greek housing events, and national conferences
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Culinary, Operations, and Marketing teams to develop compelling proposals
- Represent UCFS professionally and passionately in all external communications
- Maintain detailed records of activity, pipeline, and results in CRM
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of successful outside sales experience (food service, hospitality, campus services, or related field preferred)
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, especially during peak recruiting and sales seasons
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with Greek life, student housing, or higher education
- Background in food service, culinary arts, or hospitality
- Previous experience working in or with fraternities, sororities, or university student affairs
Ideal Candidate Profiles
Candidate A – The Greek Life Insider
Former chapter president or campus leader with 1–3 years in a Greek national office or university student life role. Knows the culture, language, and decision-makers of fraternity/sorority life. Outgoing and mission-driven, but may be new to professional sales.
Candidate B – The Social Foodie
Someone who has worked in food service (possibly with culinary training) and loves the hospitality industry — but wants to move into a more people-focused role. Still passionate about food, but looking for better hours and more freedom to connect with others.
Candidate C – The Corporate Closer
Experienced sales representative from a larger food or facilities company (e.g., Aramark, Compass, Sodexo). Has a strong grasp of the sales process and is looking for a more entrepreneurial, nimble company where they can make a bigger personal impact.
Location Preferences
Ideal candidates are located in or near major college markets (SEC, Big Ten, Pac-12, etc.) and are comfortable traveling regionally or nationally.
